Fine Art Prints

from $5.00

*This product page is for fine art inkjet prints. For minilab prints, please see the standard Minilab Prints page.

We can print from any digital files you provide or from anything we scan for you. Size options have minimum quantities on the smaller ends, but include virtually any size up to 44 inches wide and 59 feet long. We carry the following high-quality fine art papers:

Hahnemühle
Photo Rag 308gsm, Photo Rag Bright 310gsm, Museum Etching 350gsm, Pearl 310gsm, Photo Rag Metallic 340gsm, Bamboo 290gsm

Canson Infinity
Baryta Photographique II Satin 310gsm, Platine Fibre Rag 310gsm

Special order custom papers and custom quotes are both available with an additional 24-48-hour lead time for orders over $500. For orders under $500 and with non-standard-size prints, please select the closest option, rounding up, to a similar overall square-footage standard-size print (i.e. for a 10x20 panoramic image, please select a standard-size image with 200 square inches or more, such as 12x18).

Almost all print files require at least a little bit of setup work to produce prints of the quality we aim to provide. Please read about how our custom fine art prints work below in the Additional Info section so you can properly price and order your prints.

To share your print files with us, please upload them to a file sharing service of your choice, such as Google Drive, and email a link to us once you place your order.

Order minimum: Please keep in mind we have an order minimum of $25 for all fine art prints that are direct-printed (without any setup from us) and $50 for prints requiring any amount of setup, inclusive of the setup fee.

Additional Info

All our services and associated pricing are set up to be best for the working photographer. While we have some additional, small fees that are unavoidable, in nearly every way, our pricing structure is often beneficial for those printing low or high-volume alike.

SETUP FEE

Nearly all prints require some setup to ensure an accurate and high-quality final print within the printable gamut of each paper. In lieu of charging higher prices for all prints, we offer lower per-print pricing and quantity discounts, but add a one-time setup fee per file of $25. This gets you a final, prepared file for your chosen paper that you can use to print with us any time again in the future without needing to pay the setup fee again. You can also print any size from this file that the original resolution allows at a later date. The Setup Fee is waived for orders over $500.

DIRECT PRINT

If you would like to forgo the setup fee, you may do so by requesting what we call a “direct print.” Direct print is an advanced, but easy-to-use option that essentially allows you to use our printer, media, and technicians as though they all belong to you: just “send to printer.” All we need to do this is a file link sent to us via your preferred file-sharing service after you place your order. This is a great option for working photographers familiar with downloading and working with printer paper profiles from various manufacturers. We use a Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-4000. Various paper manufacturers provide profiles on their websites for various printer/paper combinations, including ours, for soft proofing. Note: you may sometimes see other printer profiles in the same series that you may use (such as those for the imagePROGRAF Pro-2000, only when the 4000 is not available). Please note we do not guarantee any results (color, density, resolution, etc.) for direct print orders. It’s your responsibility to save the file with the appropriate settings. The only file setup we do is in the print dialog to select the highest print quality and the appropriate ICC paper profile for the chosen paper.

While we can deal with improper DPI settings in a file, files for direct print must be still be in the exact print ratio of the desired, final print. Even with instruction, we will not crop or print a different ratio for direct-print orders. Additionally, if you would like a white/unprinted border, direct-print files must be saved with this border already sized in the image (i.e. you must expand the canvas beyond the image bounds accordingly before sending us the file).

TRIMMING

All trimming is included in the existing pricing. As such, in the notes section that shows upon adding prints to the cart, you may indicate any non-printed border size as long as the print paid for is the final cut size (i.e. the total physical print size), and we will trim accordingly.

SHIPPING

All orders can be picked up in person at our shop, but if you require shipping for a print-only order, various shipping options can be selected upon checkout.

For those that require prints to be shipped back to them along with an order already placed, this can sometimes be accommodated. But please note that for most medium and large prints, we will need to ship separately in a tube or flat-packed box according to your requirements. We can, however, naturally ship many prints of a similar or smaller size together in one shipment. All shipping at checkout assumes shipping in a mailing tube. For flat-packed shipping, please contact us for a direct quote if needed.
