The Darkroom
We are excited to announce the opening of both our private and community darkroom rentals, workshops, and events. In celebration of the opening and during this beta period, darkroom time is offered for a limited time at a reduced rate of $18/hr. Unlimited monthly membership is offered at $400/mo. for access during our business hours and comes with additional perks to be announced soon.
While we prepare to launch a new site many new features in the coming weeks, please book darkroom time by the hour over the phone or via email, and we’ll reserve your slot in the calendar.

Film Processing
Daylight darkroom sink for hand processing and print washing
Paterson and Jobo reels and tanks for hand processing use
Film drying cabinet
BYO chemistry (we offer a small selection for sale, but can get nearly anything you prefer with some notice)
Darkroom Printing
Reserve 1 of 9 separate enlarger bays (2-bay booking available at double rate)
7 B&W in main room, 2 individual rooms for color/B&W printing
Choice of various enlargers, upon availability, including Saunders/LPL 4500-II 4x5 enlargers, Durst Laborator 1200 with CLS 501 color head 4x5 enlargers, Leitz Leicavit autofocus 35mm enlargers, and more
Lens matched to your film format (one at a time, but swappable during booking upon availability)
Chemistry included and lab-managed for B&W tray processing
Chemistry included and lab-managed for color dry-to-dry processing in Fujimoto CP-51 (up to 20” wide)
Scheduled, lab-managed print washes to save you time so you can keep printing
Temperature-controlled and vented
First 20 minutes of rented time in our space for any new guests is a mandatory orientation to become acquainted with how our space works
Education
Educational workshops to provide confidence in the darkroom, improve skills, and learn additional processes will be offered throughout the coming weeks and months in the form of à-la-carte, one-on-one, and semester-based courses. Be on the lookout for our workshop releases on our Happenings page.
