Join us in helping artists create the best work they can. We are always looking for qualified candidates across multiple types of positions. Our current search is for one part-time employee with a concentration on film scanning and lab-related tasks. Flexible schedule and the desire to grow into full-time positions is a plus. Qualified applicants’ will have a well versed knowledge and dense experience working with color correction and film scanning workflow techniques. While not 100% set yet, a Tuesday - Friday schedule is desired.

All positions will start with a 30-to-45-day training/proving period, after which the rate is re-evaluated depending on final placement and performance. All positions require a strong desire for perfection, as we are taking care of people’s once-in-a-lifetime family memories, first-time high-paying jobs shooting for prestigious publications, and many other kinds of unmissable moments where missing the mark means orders of magnitude more to that person (and many others) than someone’s $10 processing order. We strive for perfection. And that should be an exciting challenge (as opposed to a deterrent) for those we’re looking to hire. Candidates should thrive with constructive critique for improvement and should return the favor to other team members openly, honestly, and with respect. Help us all care more, do more, and be more every day you come to work.

This position will be centralized around film scanning but will also include, at times, work in the lab, processing film, mixing chemistry and helping customers who come into drop off, or pick up film. Additionally, the position can certainly evolve into other things if the candidate desires to bring new initiatives to the lab. This would all depend on both the applicant’s interests and the lab’s needs at any given time.

For this position, please include relevant experience only as well as a portfolio of your imagery/photo work. In this position you will work alongside our team to operate our Noritsu scanners to turn customers’ analog images into perfect, color balanced and corrected digital files for their desired needs. Deep knowledge of color theory is required, and the selected applicant will be able to easily mange and deliver files in an organized fashion while navigating our various file transfer modes and systems. This means excellent organization and file management in both Mac and Windows operating systems is an absolute must. The selected applicant will also be able to work under tight deadlines to deliver customer scans as efficiently as possible, all while still providing superb quality results.

Pay: starting at $18/hour during evaluation period.

If anything is unclear, always ask. We love open, honest communication.
