Drop Boxes · Los Angeles

Use our drop boxes across LA.

Seven partner drop boxes across Los Angeles inside shops we like, from Highland Park to Santa Monica, plus a 24/7 box outside the lab. Drop your rolls after placing your order online; we pick them up and do the rest.

How It Works

Order online, drop it in,
we'll take it from there.

Place your order online before you drop off. Every partner box has envelopes and order slips on top. Bring your own envelope and slip for the 24/7 box at the lab.

01

Find the box

Partner drop boxes are available during shop business hours. Grab an envelope and an order slip from the top.

02

Order online first

Place your order online before dropping off your film. Write your order number on a note or the order slip.

03

Seal & drop

Rolls and your written order number go in the envelope, envelope goes in the box. That’s it.

04

We pick up weekly

We collect from each box at least weekly, log your film at the lab, and match it to your online order. From there you get the same emails as anyone who walked in.

The Exception

The 24/7 box at the lab.

The box outside our door is open every hour of every day, but because it’s outdoors, there’s no slip station. Order online first, write your order number on your bag or envelope, and drop it in. We empty it every day we’re open — which is all seven, minus major holidays.

Cost, Timing & Negatives

What you pay, how long you wait.

Cost

No drop-off fee.

Only the drop-off is free. Processing, scanning, and other ordered services are charged at the same rates as at the lab counter.

Turnaround

Add up to a week.

Partner boxes are collected weekly at minimum, so the added time depends on when you drop relative to that box’s run. Once your film is at the lab, standard turnaround applies and you get the same emails at each step. The box at the lab adds nothing as it’s emptied every day.

Negatives

They come back to the lab.

Scans arrive by email. Negatives are held at the lab for pickup during open hours, or ask us about return by mail when you order. Dropped at Love Coffee? We can arrange a West LA handoff.

Host a drop box.

Run a shop, studio, or café in Los Angeles where people already stop by? We supply the box, envelopes, and slips, pick up on a regular schedule, and send our customers your way. We’re always looking for additional partners.
